About

Hey, I’m Jeremy Copeland and I am a husband, father of three five (foster care makes this complicated) and a pastor to STORYCHURCH in Durham, NC.

This is a place for me to write down my stories, as well as to try and write about my passions: leadership and spiritual growth. I’m sure once in a while something random will pop up as well.

The best way to stay connected is to subscribe to my email list on the right of the screen or my RSS feed so you don’t miss anything. I used to blog over here, but this is my new home.

If you’d like to get in touch with me, you can best do that through twitter or by leaving a comment here on the blog.

Bio:
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we’ve got three beautiful kids. If I weren’t a pastor I would probably be pursuing a career in baseball somewhere as an announcer, a writer, or a coach (because unfortunately the scouts didn’t come knocking for my 84 mph fastball). I love to read, to work with my hands, and to learn new things.

I grew up in southern CA where I graduated from Biola University with a degree in Biblical Studies. After nearly a decade of youth ministry in CA my family and I set out on an adventure of a lifetime to plant a church in Durham, NC.

Today I serve as the lead and founding pastor of STORYCHURCH in Durham, NC. I also help to coordinate Plant RDU, a local tribe of church planting pastors and their wives. My wife and I have a passion to see church planters find a tribe where they belong.
